Journal Scope

Journal of Computer Security and Data Forensics(JCSDF)is an open-access journal which is dedicated to provide a platform for scholars and specialists to promote academic communications and the development of science and technology.

Besides providing emphasis on topics like computer crime prevention/detection, computer forensics and security, confidentiality protection, cryptography and data protection, database and data security, denial of service protection, E-commerce security, e-surveillance, fraud/hacker/terrorism detection/prevention, information warfare, national security, information ethics, information privacy issues, information systems/information security and sharing, internet abuse, network intruder detection/prevention, internet/network security, malicious code/unauthorized access protection, transaction security, virus/worm controls, risk management, safety-critical systems, secure communications technology and computer systems, security control measures, policy models and mechanisms, architecture for secure and fault-tolerant systems, wireless/mobile network security, information hiding, cryptographic chip design are promoted. Articles evolving algorithms making computational work handy are welcome.

The JCSDF is published in four issues per volume annually appearing in March, June, September and December.

Our Policy:Articles received are immediately processed adopting fastest method to arrive at the final decision regarding the publication of a paper normally within two months and in case duly recommended for publication by a referee, an effort is made to accommodate the paper in an issue to appear next. We understand that the policy of quick decision is in the interest of both the authors as well as the publishers. To ensure speedy publication articles which are sufficiently well presented as are judged by the Editors often get priority. Accepted papers get duly edited and typeset in the style of our journal by the publisher and the galley proofs are sent to the submitting authors, unless requested otherwise, without the original manuscript, for corrections.
