Abstract:

Quick response code secret sharing (QRCSS) scheme is a technology that can divide the secret QR code into several shares. It can enhance the secure transmission of the QR code on the Internet. Most QRCSS schemes only restore a secret QR code. This paper proposes a double QR codes secret sharing (DQRCSS) scheme to increase the number of the restored secret QR code. The DQRCSS scheme divides two secret QR codes into three shares. When all shares are performed in different operations (color OR and color XOR), two secret color QR codes can be restored. Two restored color QR codes have contrast in color. They can be converted to two standard QR codes by using graying-binarization. Two secret QR codes can be restored completely. The security of the proposed scheme is analyzed theoretically in this paper. When the number of shares is less than three, two restored standard QR codes all have errors. The standard decoder cannot decode them. Experimental results show that the DQRCSS scheme is feasible.
